About The Project
Sunway Pyramid is located in the heart of Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya. It was opened in July 1997. One of the mall's most salient design is the Egyptian-inspired Pyramid. The facade of the building is embellished in the monumental style, complete with pseudo-hieroglyphics decorative features, along with numerous Pharoic statues.
Its gross floor area totals 4,300,000 square feet (396,000 m²). Sunway Pyramid is one of the largest shopping centres in Malaysia. Apart from the retail outlets, the complex features a 10 screen Cineplex, a 48 lane bowling Alley (venue of the 1998 Commonwealth Games), an ice skating rink, a convention centre and ample car parking.
